BioI am Amanda, married to my beloved for 2 and a half years, and mama to our precious daughter, Tirzah.
This journal is to document my many creative undertakings. From childhood I have delighted in using my hands for all manner of crafts including cross-stitch, tatting, upholstery, crochet, knitting, quilting, and above all designing and sewing beautiful things- dresses being my favorite. Lovely materials delight me, creating someone's dream gown is pure joy, and studying in pictures or in life the designs, fabrics, and handiwork of the past gives me a thrill. It seems I am nearly always working at something, though not nearly as consistently as before I was a mommy, and I wish to document these projects here.
If anyone wishes to take a peek into my "sewing room", I welcome you to step over my fabric clippings, push aside the stack of projects-in-progress, and relax to the hum of my sewing machine. I'm so very glad to have you!
